The Kiwanis Club of Kennewick is conducting a special fundraising endeavor to help build the Tri-City Union Gospel Mission Women and Children’s Center. We begin raising funds on May 1, 2026, culminating with a 100th Anniversary Celebration on May 15, 2027, at the Three Rivers Convention Center. Please join us!
We have invited Ms. Emma Swift Lee, M.Ed., Director of the Fred Rogers Institute, to be our Keynote Speaker. Ms. Lee will reflect on the legacy of Mr. Rogers and “his neighborhood” and her message will emphasize creating a community that benefits our kids.
Kiwanis Club of Kennewick's 100th Anniversary year celebration kicks off at the Benton Franklin Fair and Rodeo Parade with Daniel Tiger. The parade will be held August 22, 2026, downtown Kennewick.
Daniel Tiger is a curious and friendly young tiger who stars in the animated children's series "Daniel Tiger's Neighborhood." He loves exploring his neighborhood with his family and friends.

Ms. Emma Swift Lee, M.Ed., Director of the Fred Rogers Institute and team will be in town conducting a Teacher Continuing Education Seminar. The seminar will be open to the area educators.
The Fred Rogers Institute will lead the CEU program. Kiwanians are working and planning with area school districts.

The focus of Kiwanis has always been about serving the needs of our greater community, especially the needs of children. For nearly 100 years, our Kennewick Kiwanis Club has provided volunteer services to make this a great place to live.
